You want to explain what your going to do without schools? Just what do you think is holding the cities together. Self educated people? No...

You want Oakland to look like Calcutta or worse? Close down the public schools.

hi, states and counties run schools. the federal government does not need to have a department of education, and said department of education is a waste of money and a political tool of whatever administration happens to be in office at the time. stay on the subject. the department of education sucks, and that's what should be shut down. you won't just see public schools vanish out of thin air if the fed dept of edu was brought down.
